About Miller Samuel
The Miller Samuel StoryDuring the middle of the New York City housing boom of the 1980′s, Miller Samuel was founded by the Miller family, who had a variety of real estate experience including appraisal, sales and rental brokerage, property management and development along with a strong interest in technology. Near the end of a successful effort to raise capital to start a real estate brokerage business, it became apparent that there was a large void in appraisal valuation. Manhattan did not have a traditional multiple listing system and co-op apartments, the largest residential property type, were not available in the public record at that time. Hence, Miller Samuel was born on October 1, 1986.
